Founded in 1882, the Sussex Rugby Football Union is the governing body for club rugby in the county. Our mission is to nurture and advance the game by supporting the development of local clubs and expanding rugby across all age groups and genders.

No referee, no game

​

The Society was formed in 1932 an currently has around 140 members in various roles. Our mission is to provide a suitably trained and qualified referee to every game in Sussex whilst enabling all our referees, advisers/assessors, touch judges and coaches to fulfill their true potential.

 

Without a qualified referee players will have no game. SSRFUR needs more referees, assessors, coaches and touch judges to cope with the demand.

The children’s charity of rugby

​

Wooden Spoon is the children's charity of rugby, funding life-changing projects across the UK and Ireland to support children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage. 

 

Wooden Spoon Sussex directly supports causes in Sussex and is the home of the Sussex Smugglers - Sussex veterans rugby.

​

The Charity has funded a wide range of projects from sensory rooms to outdoor learning areas to hydrotherapy pools.

The professional party people

Trusted since 2013, The Bug Club have delivered services to over 750 events from private parties to festivals, brand activations to promotional launches, carnivals, exhibitions and street parties. 

​

Our mobile DJ booths and bars have been seen at major events including Formula 1, The Commonwealth Games, The World Athletics at the Olympic Stadium. Major brands have hired our Bug services for brand activations with Amazon, Next, Volkswagen, Goose IPA and Deliveroo, to name just a few!

 

We are the Professional Party People and our mission is to deliver high quality events, supplying outstanding DJs and bar services to create that festival feeling. We aim to spread joy, connect people and engage your audience through unique brand activations.
