What is it?
A showcase of PURE FORWARD POWER alongside our 7s competition.
At the Grand Final on the 11th July 2026 at Haywards Heath RFC
People keep trying to kill the scrum contest. Well... we’ve given it A NEW LIFE!
How does it work?
PART 1: ELIMINATION STAGE
- A pack of 5 forwards from a squad of 8 push a scrum machine between two points which are 10-meters apart.
- You have 30 seconds to reach the finish line otherwise you are eliminated.
- The weights will increase each round until we are left with only 5 teams.
PART 2: THE FINAL FINISH
- The remaining five teams take it in turns to cover 10 meters, in the shortest time possible, with the same weight.
- The fastest time wins!
TEAM ENTRY
- Maximum squad of 8.
- Separate Men’s and Women’s categories available (adults only).
- Teams can enter from anywhere in the country.
- No weight or club restrictions.
- £50 per team (FREE entry if you have a 7s team in the Sussex 7s Series).
